William Hondermarck of Drogheda United could be on his way to the Championship, with Norwich City and Brentford reportedly interested.

Norwich City and Brentford have shown plenty of nous in the transfer market in recent times and William Hondermarck (left) could be another intelligent signing from two of the Championship’s most well-run clubs.
According to the Irish Sun, the highly-rated Drogheda United midfielder is a man in demand, with both Norwich and Brentford interested, as well as Scottish Championship side Dundee United.
Hondermarck is understood to have trained with clubs in England over the summer and the Irish Sun believes that his potential has caught the eye of a number of teams across the sea.
Norwich are interested and allegedly believe Hondermarck would be a fine addition to their U23 squad, with Brentford also in the race.

Hondermarck, who was born in France but has trained with the Ireland U19s, made 14 appearances for Drogheda last season. And it remains to be seen where he moves next in an attempt to continue his development in a more high profile league.
As it stands, Norwich are top of the Championship, with their outstanding form under Daniel Farke continuing while Brentford have slipped down to 18th since Dean Smith left for Aston Villa.
