Premier League duo Watford and Newcastle United are reportedly battling for Olympiakos midfielder Mady Camara.

Newcastle United are interested in signing Mady Camara this summer but Watford are in the box seat for the Olympiakos midfielder, according to The Standard.
The Guinea international only moved to Greece last summer from French second tier outfit Ajaccio but he is already being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League after netting six times in 31 games for the Piraeus outfit.
The Standard claims that Newcastle are keeping tabs on Camara, alongside clubs from Germany and Italy, with Rafa Benitez’s side set to lose a number of key midfielders in the next few weeks.
Jonjo Shelvey is expected to leave, Mo Diame is out of contract and Isaac Hayden has made no secret of his desire to move closer to his family down south.

Unfortunately for Newcastle, however, top flight rivals Watford are in an advantageous position as things stand.
The Standard adds that Camara, who is valued at £12 million, is keen on a move to Vicarage Road though he won’t make a firm decision on his future until after the African Cup of Nations.
