Rafa Benitez is hoping to get another favour from Premier League giants Chelsea with Kasey Palmer reportedly on Newcastle United’s radar.

It seems that Rafa Benitez is keen to take full advantage of his Chelsea connections once again.
The Newcastle United manager got in touch with his former employers in January to bring the Brazilian winger Kenedy to St James’ Park, having previously attempted deals for Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tammy Abraham.

It is understood that The Blues could be set to loan Kasey Palmer out again this summer after the talented midfielder spent the second half of last season at Derby County. Sheffield United and Norwich are interested in the 21-year-old but, perhaps most interestingly, Newcastle are also keeping tabs on the situation.
Palmer, who has played six times for England’s U21 side, has never made a Premier League appearance for Chelsea so a move to Newcastle would be a massive opportunity.

Interestingly, Benitez is keen to sign a new number 10 this summer with his Newcastle side perhaps lacking a little cutting edge in the final third. And Palmer might just fill a gap in The Magpies’ squad.
Though supporters might be underwhelmed by another loan signing as the pressure rises once again on owner Mike Ashley to finally invest some funds.
