Joselu has been very disappointing since he arrived at Newcastle United from Premier League rivals Stoke City in the summer of 2017.

Newcastle United could sell misfiring striker Joselu before the end of the January transfer window, according to The Chronicle.
A £5 million signing from Stoke City in the summer of 2017, the much-maligned Spaniard has become something of a symbol of the club’s decline under Mike Ashley.
After all, Joselu has scored just six Premier League goals in front of a fan base who have previously enjoyed the considerable talents of Alan Shearer, Les Ferdinand and even Dutch legend Patrick Kluivert.
And, according to The Chronicle, the former Hannover forward could be sold this week – though only if Rafa Benitez can bring in a replacement. With no signings yet since January began, that may be easier said than done.

It is understood that Joselu has a suitor in China, who would surely be willing to offer him a substantial pay rise, while an unnamed club in Europe are also interested in the one-time Deportivo la Coruna loanee.
The report adds that Newcastle could even make a profit on Joselu; and many fans would bite your hand off for more than £5 million for a striker who has become something of a running joke on Tyneside.
