Kenedy is coming to the end of his second loan spell at Newcastle United from Premier League rivals Chelsea.

Newcastle United are set to send Kenedy back to Chelsea when his loan deal expires at the end of the season with the Magpies on the lookout for replacements, as reported by the Chronicle.
Kenedy initially moved to St James’ Park on a short-term deal in the second half of the 2017/18 season and he made a huge difference, adding speed and creativity out wide as Rafa Benitez’s side pulled clear of the relegation zone.
But the Brazilian has failed to maintain those standards during the current campaign. He has just one goal and one assist in the Premier League this season and was left out of the squad for Saturday’s home defeat to Crystal Palace.
As a result, the Chronicle claims that Newcastle are scouring the market for wingers and have decided that they will not offer Chelsea a deal to sign Kenedy on a permanent basis.

The Blues apparently valued the 23-year-old at £30 million a year ago but his price-tag has surely fallen some way since then.
The report suggests that Newcastle could change their mind, however, if Chelsea decide to accept a drastically reduced fee for a player who has just 12 months left on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
