West Ham United reportedly want to reunite the striker with Manuel Pellegrini, but will he stay in Serie A instead?

West Ham United are still hoping to sign Edin Dzeko this summer but the Roma striker has his heart set on a move to Inter Milan, according to Il Messaggero.
The Hammers have been linked with the Bosnian target man ever since his former Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini arrived at the London Stadium last summer.
Calciomercato reported in the autumn that West Ham were willing to pay £22 million for Dzeko, while offering him a director’s role at the club once he retires in an attempt to sweeten the deal.
Il Messaggero reports that a return to England is still on the cards even though Dzeko is 33. But it seems the striker is instead dreaming of a switch to a bona fide European giant in the shape of Inter Milan as he enters the final few years of his career.

The chances are that Dzeko would replace Mauro Icardi at the San Siro. The Inter captain has not played for the Nerazzuri for almost two months now and has been tipped to leave this summer.
Dzeko, who won the Premier League title under Pellegrini at Manchester City in 2014, has scored 12 goals in 30 games during a difficult season for Roma.
