Goalkeepers Stephen Henderson and Dimi Evtimov might have played their last games for Championship side Nottingham Forest.
It has been all change at Nottingham Forest this summer with nine new faces through the door already. But where there is incomings, it is inevitable there will be outgoings, too, as Aitor Karanka looks to build a side capable of challenging for promotion next season.
The Nottingham Post reported last week that four first-team players, Michael Mancienne, Armand Traore, Jamie Ward and Jason Cummings, had all been told that they had no future at the City Ground. Cummings has since departed, joining Peterborough United on loan.
And the Post is now naming two more players who look set to be discarded by the east Midlands outfit before the summer is out.
It is understood that goalkeeping duo Stephen Henderson (below) and Dimi Evtimov are both surplus to requirements at the City Ground. And, to be honest, this should come as no surprise.
Forest have already brought in Costel Pantilimon on a permanent basis this summer while Bruno Varela has been tipped to join from Benfica. With Stefanos Kapino and Jordan Smith already on the books, both Henderson and Evtimov are well down the pecking order.
30-year-old Henderson spent the second half of last season on loan at Portsmouth in League One while 24-year-old Evtimov has made just three appearances in seven years on Forest’s books.
