David Moyes may be leaving West Ham United with the managers of Newcastle United, Burnley and Fulham all reportedly targeted.

David Moyes’ West Ham United contract expired almost as soon as the 2017/18 season came to an end and it appears increasingly unlikely that the Scot will still be at the London Stadium next season.
Moyes, somewhat like his Everton counterpart Sam Allardyce, deserves credit for rallying the side and guiding them away from relegation danger, but his pragmatic style of play has failed to win over supporters with greater ambitions than simple survival.

It is understood that co-owner David Sullivan has decided he wants a new man in charge and is considering Slavisa Jokanovic of Fulham (above), Sean Dyche of Burnley and Rafa Benitez of Newcastle United.
Jokanovic has never managed in the Premier League but has worked wonders in the Championship. He guided Watford to the top flight in 2015 before being surprisingly sacked, and his free-flowing Fulham side are set to contest the play-off final later this month after beating Derby County 2-1 on aggregate in the semi-final.
Dyche and Benitez, meanwhile, have overachieved massively at Burnley and Newcastle respectively, guiding both clubs to top-half finishes and earning a place on the Manager of the Year shortlist as a result.

Interestingly, the Mirror stated on Monday that Portuguese pair Marco Silva and Paulo Fonseca were also targets for West Ham. The latter, who led Shakthar Donetsk to the knock-out rounds of the Champions League last season, has already held talks with the club’s board.
So it remains to be seen who the club will trust to lead West Ham into a new era.
