Championship leaders Leeds United are set to end Hadi Sacko’s dreadful loan spell at Las Palmas in the January transfer window.

Hadi Sacko’s loan spell at Las Palmas has not gone to plan.
The jet-heeled winger moved to the Spanish second tier in the summer after being informed that he was not part of Marcelo Bielsa’s plans at Leeds United. But Sacko has made just five league appearances for the Canary Island club while being left out of the match day squad for each of their last nine fixtures.
As a result, Leeds’ director of football Victor Orta confirmed to La Provincia earlier this month that Leeds could look to bring an end to Sacko’s spell at Las Palmas and send him elsewhere.
And La Provincia has provided an update on Monday, claiming that the former Sporting Lisbon forward is set to leave Las Palmas today. It is understood that there are two clubs interested in offering Sacko a fresh start – AEK Larnaca of Cyprus and Mol Vidi of Hungary.

Interestingly, both AEK and Mol Vidi played Europa League football this season, the latter taking on Chelsea, but were knocked out in the group stages.
It remains to be seen where Sacko ends up but it seems more and more likely that he has no future at Elland Road.
Leeds paid £1.5 million to sign the 24-year-old in the summer of 2017 (YEP) after he spent the previous campaign on loan in West Yorkshire.
