Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to bring Douglas Costa to the Premier League after he started just seven Serie A games for Juventus.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Juventus winger Douglas Costa next summer, Calciomercato reported in early February. And they could be in luck.
Because Calciomercato is now claiming that Juve are ready to sell the Brazilian international, who himself is keen to leave Turin after falling down the pecking order. The problem for Spurs, however, is that he will cost a club record £45 million.
The former Shakhtar Donetsk and Bayern Munich winger, who signed for Juventus permanently in 2018 after a fine loan spell in Italy, is one of the most explosive wingers in European football, a real throwback of a player with chalk on his boots and a wide range of tricks in his armoury.
But Costa has struggled for game time under Max Allegri this season. He has started just seven Serie A matches and once in the Champions League.

No wonder the 28-year-old is considering his future as he enters his prime. And a move to Tottenham could offer him the fresh start he needs, with Mauricio Pochettino’s attacking style likely to get the best out of a player who could be devastating on the counter-attack.
But will Tottenham really stump up £45 million?
