Carlos Sanchez has played just 14 minutes of Premier League football all season under Manuel Pellegrini at West Ham United.

Forgotten man Carlos Sanchez has no future at West Ham United, according to the Guardian, while director of football Mario Husillos is coming under fire for a number of ill-fated signings since taking up the role at the London Stadium.
The Hammers only hired Husillos, Manuel Pellegrini’s long-time ally, at the manager’s request in the summer of 2018. They initially wanted Eduardo Macia instead, the Guardian reports, and Husillos has done little in the last year or so to suggest that he is the right man to take this ambitious club forward.
The likes of Roberto, Pablo Fornals, Albian Ajeti and Lucas Perez have all flopped in claret and blue. And the less said about Sanchez the better.
Given that the 33-year-old was nothing short of a disaster during his two seasons at Aston Villa between 2014 and 2016, the warning signs were there well before West Ham decided to hand Sanchez a second chance in the Premier League.
And the veteran Colombian gone on to play just 250 minutes of top flight football in the last 15 months. He has made three cameo appearances so far in 2019/20 as he slips ever further down the pecking order.

Sanchez’s contract is due to expire at the end of the campaign and, according to the Guardian, there is absolutely no chance that he will be sticking around for a third season.
One of the most forgettable signings in West Ham’s recent history, he won’t be missed.
