Lille’s Ligue 1 star Nicolas Pepe is on the move but is he heading to the Premier League with Liverpool or to Paris Saint-Germain instead?

Liverpool are still at the front of the queue to sign Lille forward Nicolas Pepe. But, according to Le10 Sport, he is not as keen on them as they are on him with the attacker’s ‘clear preference’ being a move to Paris Saint Germain.
There are not many players in world football right now who would stand a chance of forcing their way into a star-studded Liverpool attack featuring the ubiquitous front three of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
But Pepe, who scored 23 goals and produced 12 assists last season, is perhaps one of the few. L’Equipe claimed earlier in June that the Premier League runners up were edging closer to meeting his £70 million price-tag.
Though reports from France suggest that the Ivory Coast international would prefer to join PSG than the reigning Champions of Europe. This does not mean that Pepe is destined to end up at the Parc des Princes this summer, however.

Le10 Sport claims that Pepe is only really an option if Neymar leaves the French capital – though, as it stands, this looks increasingly likely.
The question is, however, do Liverpool really want to spend so much time and money aiming to acquire a player who seemingly has another move in his mind?
