Jordan Rossiter could reportedly join Motherwell, rather than Dundee United, after making just four Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers.
Rangers midfielder Jordan Rossiter has emerged as a target for Scottish Premiership rivals Motherwell, according to the Express.
Despite the arrival of his former Liverpool team-mate Steven Gerrard at Ibrox, Rossiter has continued to struggle at the Glasgow giants having made just five appearances in another injury-hit campaign.
And, with Steven Davis and Glen Kamara arriving, it is expected that Rossiter will be allowed to leave in the near future with Motherwell keen to bring the 21-year-old to Fir Park until the end of the season.
Whether Rangers will accept their offer remains to be seen, however. The Express point out that The Gers turned down an offer from Dundee United earlier in the month.
Understandably, Rossiter is keen to leave in order to pursue more regular game time though joining Motherwell could be easier said than done. Manager Stephen Robinson needs to get a few players off the wage bill before he will be able to finance a deal for the former England U19 international.
Rangers paid a development fee of £250,000 when they snapped up Rossiter from Liverpool in 2016 (Daily Record).
