Stewart Downing could reportedly reunite with Steven Gerrard at Glasgow Rangers, although Blackburn Rovers are also allegedly keen.

Middlesbrough winger Stewart Downing has refused to rule out a shock move to Rangers, according to the Teesside Gazette, though he is set to hold talks about a switch to Blackburn Rovers.
At the age of 34, Downing is set to become a free agent with his second spell at Boro coming to an end. But the former England international should not be short of offers despite his advancing years with a number of clubs on both sides of the border linked.
The report claims that Rangers approached Downing about a potential move to Ibrox earlier in 2019.
And Steven Gerrard is expected to hold talks with his former England and Liverpool teammate over the next few weeks with Downing open to the idea of continuing to career in Scotland.

Blackburn are keen too and the former West Ham and Aston Villa wide man could be tempted by the idea of working alongside Tony Mowbray, a former Middlesbrough player and coach who Downing has described as a ‘legend’.
Downing made 40 appearances for Middlesbrough in 2018/19, scoring two goals as Tony Pulis’s side missed out on the play-offs.
