Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly want to bring Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore with them to the Premier League.

Wolverhampton Wanderers could soon be forced to regret failing to meet the £18 million release clause in Adama Traore’s contract.
The Express and Star have reported that the 22-year-old is Wolves’ top attacking target as Nuno Espirito Santo aims to put the finishing touches on a squad capable of thriving in the Premier League next season.
But, according to The Mirror (31 July, page 50), Wolves do not believe Traore is worth £18 million, valuing the jet-heeled winger instead at £12 million. They have had an initial bid rejected by Middlesbrough.
And they are now at risk of missing out altogether. The Northern Echo reports that Boro have offered their star man a new contract as they look to ward off interest from Wolves and keep Traore at the Riverside.
It can be expected that any fresh deal would remove the £18 million release clause – which Boro believe is too low for a player of Traore’s potential.

So the ball is now in Wolves’ court. If they want to snap up the former Barcelona youngster before the new season starts, they must move now – and trigger the clause which could give Boro no say in Traore’s future.
Otherwise, they face having to invest far more than £18 million.
