Two of Everton’s Premier League outcasts are reportedly on their way to the Championship to link up with Tony Pulis’ Middlesbrough.

Steve Bruce’s pursuit of Yannick Bolasie is set to end in disappointment.
The Birmingham Mail reported on Monday that the Aston Villa boss was ‘desperate’ to sign the out-of-favour Everton winger. And though it seems that the £28 million man is heading to the Championship on loan, the chances of him wearing claret and blue look slim.
According to Sky Sports (live blog, 2.09pm), Middlesbrough have agreed a deal in principle to sign Bolasie on loan for the season.
This comes after the 29-year-old former Crystal Palace winger travelled to Middlesbrough’s training ground for talks. The Teesside Gazette claimed that Boro had made enquiries about a £15 million deal for Bolasie earlier in the month and any loan move could now contain an option to buy.
But Bolasie is not the only Everton player who seems to be on his way to the North East.

Mo Besic played at the Riverside during a loan spell between January and May last season and was a revelation, putting his injury problems aside and starring in the centre of midfield.
Sky adds that Besic also travelled to Middlesbrough’s Rockliffe Hall base on Sunday and has agreed terms with Tony Pulis’ side. So expect both he and Bolasie to be Boro players by the end of this week.
