Could Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers lose Ruben Neves to Serie A champions Juventus in the January transfer window?

Jorge Mendes was responsible for bringing Ruben Neves to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2017. But the influential super-agent could also be the man who is at the centre of his eventual departure.
According to Tuttosport, Mendes was in Turin on Wednesday for talks with Juventus president Andrea Agnelli and sporting director Fabio Paratici.
And it is understood that Portugal international Neves was one subject discussed, with the Serie A champions apparently interested heading into the January transfer window.
Wolves fans, then, could be set for a nervy few weeks even though Neves seemingly committed his long term future to the newly promoted club by signing a new contract in the summer.

Mendes, who has a close relationship with Wolves’ Chinese owners, is also establishing himself as a major player at Juve, having taken two of his most high-profile clients, Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Cancelo, to Turin in the summer. Blaise Matuidi also arrived from PSG a year earlier.
If the interest is genuine, however, Wolves are expected to demand a huge fee for the 21-year-old Neves.
The Times reported in September that the Black Country giants would demand a mammoth £110 million, a massive increase on the £14.4 million they paid FC Porto last year.
