Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s fabulous Premier League form at Crystal Palace has resulted in links with Manchester United and Chelsea.
The prospect of Aaron Wan-Bissaka leaving Crystal Palace does not bare thinking about.
It is hard to believe the right-back made his first-team debut less than a year ago, given that he is now well established as one of the biggest young talents anywhere in the Premier League.
But the 21-year-old’s superb form comes with a caveat. According to the Mirror, Wan-Bissaka has caught the eye of some of England’s biggest clubs.
It is understood that Manchester United have been watching the power-packed defender, who could compete with Diego Dalot for the right-back role should he seal what would likely be a big-money move to Old Trafford.
Chelsea are interested, too. Davide Zappacosta is expected to return to Italy in the near future, opening the door for Wan-Bissaka to leave Selhurst Park for Stamford Bridge.
Fortunately for Crystal Palace, however, the Croydon-born England U21 international is under contract until 2022 so Roy Hodgson’s side are in full control of the situation as it stands.
And there is no way they should be willing to listen to offers for a player who has a big future ahead of him.
