Ligue 1 flyers Lille could lose Nicolas Pepe this summer with Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester United both linked.

Manchester United have joined the race to sign prolific Lille attacker Nicolas Pepe, according to the Express, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes preparations for Romelu Lukaku’s departure.
Ivorian winger Pepe has emerged as one of the most coveted attacking talents anywhere in Europe after a remarkable season in Ligue 1.
He has scored 20 goals in 36 games for Christoph Galtier’s side, firing Les Dogues into second place after last season’s fortunate escape from relegation.
And the Express reports that Manchester United have sent scouts to watch him in action and have been suitably impressed with his performances. And, although he is more of a wide attacker than a natural centre-forward, the report suggests that Pepe could replace Lukaku at Old Trafford with the Belgian battering ram batting his eyelashes in the direction of Italy’s biggest clubs.
Both Juventus and Inter Milan are keen on the former Everton man.

The Express adds that United will face competition from bitter rivals Liverpool, who are ready to make an official offer for a player Lille value at £60 million.
However, Pepe will be aware that a first-team role at Anfield with Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane firmly established as the club’s feted front three.
