Could Joao Cancelo be on his way to Premier League champions Manchester City after winning the Serie A title with Juventus?

Manchester City have now made an official bid of £53 million for Juventus right-back Joao Cancelo, according to Tuttosport.
Despite winning the Premier League title again with 98 points, Pep Guardiola’s side are expected to splash the cash once again this summer.
A new right-back appears to be high on the agenda with Brazil international Danilo expected to leave the Etihad Stadium.
And it seems that City have chosen Portugal flyer Cancelo as the former Real Madrid defender’s successor. According to Tuttosport, City have offered £53 million for the one-time Valencia and Benfica ace.
The report adds that Juventus might have to sacrifice one of their key players if they want to re-invest in new talent this summer. The Serie A champions signed Cancelo for £35 million a year ago after a short-term spell at Inter Milan.

Furthermore, Juve appear to be scouring the market for potential replacements too with Valencia’s Cristiano Piccini on their radar, while Mattia de Sciglio could also be handed an enhanced role at the Allianz Stadium.
Cancelo’s arrival would potentially relegate Kyle Walker to the bench at Manchester City.
