Gianmarco Cangiano could reportedly leave Serie A giants Roma with Premier League champions Manchester City keen, as are Brighton.

Manchester City and Brighton and Hove Albion are going head-to-head to sign Italian wonder kid Gianmarco Cangiano this summer, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The Naples-born left-winger has long been seen as one of the most exciting players to come through the ranks of Roma in recent years and his performances at youth level this season have only enhanced his burgeoning reputation.
Cangiano has scored 15 goals and provided eight assists for Roma’s reserves team. And, should he stay in the Italian capital, the teenager could perhaps be expected to compete for a place in the senior squad in 2019/20.
But keeping hold of Cangiano could be easier said than done.
Manchester City, who were named Premier League champions on Sunday, are keeping tabs on the forward. As are Brighton, who were battered 4-1 at home by Pep Guardiola’s men on the final day of the season.

It remains to be seen whether The Seagulls’ pursuit will be affected by the rather surprise sacking of manager Chris Hughton on Monday.
According to Calciomercato, Cangiano idolises Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne and the similarities simply shine through when he cuts inside from the left and fires wicked, curling shots at goal.
