Graeme Jones’ future at West Bromwich Albion has been cast into doubt once again on Monday morning.

League One Luton Town are looking for a new manager after losing Nathan Jones to Stoke City earlier in January. The Hatters, who are second in the third tier, recently appointed Mick Harford as their interim boss for the time being but are looking to make a more long-term hire.

And, according to the Express and Star, Luton are still interested in bringing Graeme Jones to Kenilworth Road, despite being turned down by the former Belgium coach this month when they made an initial approach.

Jones, who is close friends with West Brom manager Darren Moore, has been key to The Baggies transformation into a more attacking side this season, having worked under the famously free-wheeling Roberto Martinez at Wigan, Everton and during last summer’s World Cup, when Belgium finished third.

The Baggies are the Championship’s top scorers with 55 goals.

Fortunately, the Express and Star reports that Jones would have reservations about leaving the Hawthorns after just six months and this should be music to the ears of West Brom fans everywhere.
