Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen need a new goalkeeper after selling Bernd Leno and reportedly want to save Karius from Premier League giants Liverpool.

Looking back at Loris Karius’ £4.7 million move to Liverpool from Mainz in 2016, you can draw the conclusion that he was just a modest gamble that didn’t pay off for Jurgen Klopp.
After two years, countless mistakes and that Champions League final nightmare, it seems that Karius might have played his last game for the Merseyside giants.
According to The Telegraph in mid-July, the German goalkeeper felt let down by Klopp’s decision to break the world transfer record to sign Brazil’s number one Alisson Becker from Roma for around £65 million.
And it was reported that Karius was now considering his future at Anfield. Though the decision could be taken out of his hands.
The Telegraph’s latest reports say that Liverpool could decide to offload the error-prone 25-year-old, along with Simon Mignolet, after young shot-stoppers Kamil Grabara (below) and Caoimhin Kelleher caught the eye of Klopp in pre-season.

Bayer Leverkusen are looking for a new ‘keeper after selling Bernd Leno to Arsenal and the report adds that they could offer Karius a return to the Bundesliga, where the former Manchester City youngster impressed during his four-year spell in Mainz’s first-team.
Leverkusen signed the Finland international Lukas Hradecky on a free after an excellent spell at Eintracht Frankfurt, however, meaning Karius wouldn’t even be guaranteed the number one shirt at the Bay Arena either.
Leverkusen are one of the biggest clubs in Germany, reaching the final of the Champions League in 2001.
