Premier League challengers Liverpool and Manchester City reportedly face another battle for Brazil international Everton.

Liverpool are interested in signing one of the most exciting talents in Brazilian football, according to Calciomercato – a Gremio forward who ironically goes by the name of Everton.
The versatile forward shot to fame with 16 goals for his club during the 2018 season, forcing his way into the Brazil national team after their disappointing quarter-final exit at the Russia World Cup as a result.
As a result, it seems unlikely that Everton will be playing in South America this time next year with some of Europe’s biggest clubs cottoning on to his mercurial talents.
Calciomercato reports that Liverpool are interested in signing a forward who shares his name with their bitter rivals from across Stanley Park.

With Daniel Sturridge out of contract and Divock Origi’s future uncertain, Jurgen Klopp wants to add depth to his attack and Everton, who can play anywhere across the front three, would fit the bill.
Liverpool’s interest comes just a week after the Sun claimed that Manchester City were leading the race, having held talks with a player Gremio want £45 million for.
