Premier League giants Liverpool and Spurs both want Super Lig wonderkid Omur from Trabzonspor.

Abdulkadir Omur only made his senior debut in December 2016 but the Trabzonspor starlet could already be on the verge of a huge move to the Premier League.

According to Turkish Football, London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham have both sent scouts to watch one of the most coveted teenagers in European football in recent months.

Omur (below, right), a quick, technical dribbler who has been likened to both Lionel Messi and Gheorghe Hagi, has shone in his first full season in the Super Lig, scoring three goals and setting up another five.

And it appears that Tottenham, as it stands, have moved ahead of The Gunners in the chase for a player described as an ‘incredible talent’ by none other than Arsenal ace Mesut Ozil.

In claims reported by Aksam, Trabzonspor have been made aware of Tottenham’s interest in a player who is valued at around £16 million despite his tender age of 18.

But Spurs have a new rival. Aksam are reporting that Liverpool are now preparing a bid for Omur this summer after accepting defeat over their ambitious pursuit of Real Madrid wonderkid Marco Asensio (below).

Liverpool have arguably the most fearsome attack in European football right now so Omur would face a daunting task competing with Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane for a place in Jurgen Klopp’s side.

But regardless of whether Omur goes to Tottenham or Liverpool, he will be working under one of the best managers in Europe when it comes to unleashing young talent.
