Kerim Demirbay was linked with a move to Liverpool in the winter but remains in the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim.

Liverpool’s links with Kerim Demirbay have gone a little cold in recent months.
Back in February, Bild claimed that the Reds and their Merseyside neighbours Everton were both interested in the dynamic Hoffenheim star, who was reported to have a £28 million release clause in his contract.
But talk surrounding Demirbay’s future was surprisingly hushed during the summer transfer window and, by the time September began, he was still part of Julian Nagelsmann’s squad. But for how much longer?
Turkish Football are claiming on Wednesday that a move to Anfield is still on the cards for Demirbay. And it is understood that Liverpool are in talks with the representatives of the Turkish-born German international.
Interestingly, Demirbay is signed up to the Arena11 agency who also count current Liverpool stars Naby Keita and Sadio Mane as clients.

And Klopp knows the attacking midfielder well too. Demirbay was part of the Borussia Dortmund youth team during Klopp’s time in charge of the Bundesliga giants.
The 2017 Confederations Cup winner has only recently returned from a long-term injury that largely put pay to his chances of a big-money move to the Premier League in the summer, making his first Bundesliga start of the season during Hoffenheim’s home defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt before the international break.
