Divock Origi scored on his first Premier League appearance of the season in December, netting the winner as Liverpool beat Everton at Anfield.

Replacing Bafetimbi Gomis is proving easier said than done for Galatasaray.
The France forward’s 32 goals fired the Istanbul giants to the Super Lig title in May and his departure has left a gaping hole in Gala’s attack, the reigning champions stuck down in seventh in the midst of a rather dismal title defence.
According to ESPN, their inability to fill the attacking void has continued with Liverpool rejecting their loan bid for Divock Origi.
The report states that Galatasaray had identified the Belgian international as a key target heading into the January transfer window but Jurgen Klopp’s Reds have no interest in farming Origi out to Turkey.

The former Lille forward, who moved to Anfield for £10 million after the 2014 World Cup (the Guardian), struggled to impress during a spell at Wolfsburg last season, scoring a grand total of six Bundesliga goals as his side narrowly avoided the drop.
23-year-old Origi has barely got a look in at Liverpool this season but enjoyed a dream return to first-team action this month, scoring a dramatic stoppage time winner in the Merseyside derby against Everton.
