Luke Matheson only made his Rochdale debut on Tuesday but is now reportedly interesting Premier League sides Liverpool, Everton and Manchester United.

Luke Matheson was the talk of Britain after Rochdale’s 2-1 Checkatrade trophy win against Bury on Tuesday night.
The 15-year-old made his debut for the League One side and that was not the most remarkable achievement about Matheson’s first appearance of his professional career. On the morning before Bury travelled to Spotland, the teenager arrived at school for his first day back after the summer holidays.
Feel old yet?
Now, Matheson’s roller-coaster week has taken another turn.
According to the Mail, his Man of the Match display in the cup has caught the attention of numerous Premier League sides, including the Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton.

Matheson, a right-back who has been in and around Rochdale’s first-team squad since the age of 14, is also understood to be on the radar of Manchester United and Chelsea.
So it is fair to say he is spoilt for choice, although Liverpool and Everton may be the best options available to him.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has shown throughout his managerial career that he is willing to put his faith in the next generation, while Everton’s director of football Marcel Brands has spoken about the importance of planning for the future with talented youngsters.
