Spain’s goalscoring debutant Brais Mendez could reporteldy move to the Premier League with Leicester after starring for Celta Vigo in La Liga.

What a week it has been for Brais Mendez.
The 21-year-old only made his La Liga debut for Celta Vigo in September 2017 – and just 14 months on he scored on his debut for the Spanish national team, netting the winner in the 1-0 friendly win against Bosnia and Herzogovina on Sunday.
Now, Mendez appears to have caught the eye of clubs in the Premier League or, specifically, Leicester City.
Cadena Cope (20 November, 9am) are reporting that Leicester have expressed their interest in the highly-rated Mendez and are expected to trigger his £23 million release clause in the January transfer window.
This would make Mendez one of the most expensive players in The Foxes’ history.

The 6ft 2ins attacking midfielder has made seven La Liga starts this season and stood out for a struggling Celta side, scoring three times and assisting two more in the Spanish top flight.
Renowned for his dribbling ability and cutting edge, Mendez can play through the centre or on either flank and could form a thrilling partnership with James Maddison in the coming years should he make the move to the King Power Stadium.
