Pep Guardiola reportedly wants to bring Leicester City’s England international left-back Ben Chilwell to Premier League champions Manchester City.

Leicester City could demand a world-record fee for Ben Chilwell this summer, with Manchester City keen to bring the England international to the Etihad Stadium according to the Telegraph.
It is claimed that Pep Guardiola is desperate to solve City’s left-back problems this summer, the former Barcelona boss forced to utilise Fabian Delph and the impressive Oleksandr Zinechenko in defence with Benjamin Mendy’s injury problems ongoing.
The Telegraph believes that Chilwell has emerged as a priority, the 22-year-old having enjoyed a fine season in which he has established himself as arguably England’s go-to ‘number three’.
Leicester are under no pressure to sell, however, given that the academy graduate is under contract until 2024.

The Foxes are reportedly likely to force City to pay in excess of £75 million, the current world-record fee for a defender which was set when Liverpool signed Virgil van Dijk from Southampton in 2018.
City know that Leicester will be tough negotiators, given how difficult they made it for the Premier League champions to sign 2016 Premier League PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez last summer.
