Andreas Pereira has played five Premier League games under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United but could he join Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City?

Leicester City are hoping to sign Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira this summer with new manager Brendan Rodgers a big fan of the Brazilian, according to the Sun.
The 23-year-old has been at Old Trafford for the last eight years but has only recently established himself in the first-team with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer taking a shine to the former Roma youngster.
Pereira has featured in five Premier League games since the Norwegian took over in December, scoring his first goal in the competition with a long-range stunner against Southampton.
But his future still appears to be uncertain. The Sun reports that United recently triggered a 12-month extension in Pereira’s contract to stop him leaving in the summer and Solskjaer wants him to sign a new four-year deal.

There is an acceptance, however, that United will have to sell if Pereira is reluctant to commit his future while they are also open to loaning him out for the whole of next season. The report claims that Leicester are keen on the midfielder, who is valued at £15 million.
Rodgers is a big fan and no wonder, given that Pereira’s intelligent, ball-playing style should fit into his tactical blueprint with ease.
