Olympiakos’ Norwegian right-back could reportedly be heading to the Premier League with Leicester City or Southampton, or perhaps even Celtic.

Celtic are set to go head-to-head with former manager Brendan Rodgers for the signature of Olympiakos right-back Omar Elabdellaoui, according to SDNA.
A Norway international who has had spells in England with Manchester City and Hull during a nomadic playing career, the 27-year-old has been playing his football in Greece since 2014 but seems likely to be on the move again soon.
Leicester are after a right-back with Danny Simpson’s contract expiring and SDNA reports that Rodgers is keen to bring Elabdellaoui to the King Power Stadium this summer.
Interestingly enough, however, the Northern Irishman could face competition from Celtic. The Scottish Premiership champions tried to sign Elabdellaoui in January when Rodgers was still at the helm, the Scottish Sun linking them with a £4 million move.

Southampton have also been mentioned as a possible destination by SDNA, which is little surprise given that Cedric Soares faces an uncertain future at St Mary’s once he returns from a frustrating loan spell at Inter Milan, who have little intention of signing him permanently.
SDNA adds that Olympiakos would demand a fee of around £4.5 million.
