Brentford have agreed to sell Florian Jozefzoon but Championship rivals Leeds United are reportedly hoping to swoop in and bring him to Elland Road.

Sky Sports reported earlier this month that Leeds United and Derby County were both interested in signing winger Florian Jozefzoon from Championship rivals Brentford.
So claims from Bees boss Dean Smith that the club had agreed a fee to sell the Dutchman to an as yet unnamed club will be of interest to fans both at Pride Park and Elland Road.
Although, if reports in the Yorkshire Evening Post are to be believed, Leeds are not the club on the verge of signing Jozefzoon from Griffin Park. But that does not mean the 27-year-old will not end up in West Yorkshire eventually.
The YEP states that Leeds are now weighing up a bid for Jozefzoon in an attempt to nab him from underneath the nose of their rival suitors. Leeds have already made enquiries about the former PSV winger, who is expected to be sold this summer with just one year left on his contract.

It is understood that head coach Marcelo Bielsa is a big fan of Jozefzoon, who scored seven goals and set up seven more in the Championship last season as Brentford fell just short of a genuine play-off challenge. He would add genuine pace to Leeds’ attack, not to mention the ability to play on either flank.
But with another club agreeing a fee, it remains to be seen whether Leeds have left it too late.
