Abel Hernandez is leaving Hull City but will Championship rivals Leeds United be his next destination?

Abel Hernandez has confirmed what we all knew already – that he would be leaving Hull City this summer.
The Uruguayan striker posted an emotional goodbye message on his official Instagram account with his contract at the KCOM Stadium due to expire at the end of the month. The question now, however, is where he will be playing his football next season?
Leeds United are one of a number of clubs who have been heavily linked with Hernandez in the last few weeks and it seems that Elland Road is a realistic destination for the former Palermo speedster.

And while Aston Villa and Wolves have also been linked, and could offer Hernandez either Premier League football or the chance to reunite with his former Hull boss Steve Bruce, it is understood that the 27-year-old could be interested in a move to Leeds, although the Uruguayan does have a lot of potential suitors due to his free agent status.
Signing Hernandez, who fired Hull to the Premier League in 2015 with 20 Championship goals, would continue an ambitious couple of weeks at Elland Road with the legendary Marcelo Bielsa heavily tipped to replace Paul Heckingbottom in West Yorkshire.
