Kemar Roofe scored 15 Championship goals for Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United last season but could he join Vincent Kompany in Belgium?

Leeds United striker Kemar Roofe is in talks with Anderlecht over a shock £7 million move to Belgium, according to the Mail.
With just two days until Marcelo Bielsa’s side kick off their new Championship campaign away at Bristol City, speculation surrounding one of their key players could hardly have been timed any worse.
Roofe has been one of those players who has made massive strides under Bielsa at Elland Road, completing his transformation from an inconsistent attacking midfielder to one of the league’s most fearsome centre-forwards.
Blessed with instinctive movement and clinical finishing, the former West Brom youngster looks like a natural in his new role and he scored 15 goals in the Championship.
But, according to the Mail, Anderlecht are looking to lure Roofe away from West Yorkshire with just 12 months remaining on his contract.

Leeds have failed to tie him down to fresh terms and the chance to make a healthy profit and sell for £7 million would make sense from a business perspective, if not a sporting one.
Vincent Kompany is Anderlecht’s player-manager these days and he is hoping to rebuild Belgium’s biggest club, who finished a disappointing sixth last season.
