Aston Villa have reportedly told Albert Adomah that he can leave with three Championship big hitters, Leeds United, West Brom and Middesbrough, all linked.
Aston Villa have signed two very exciting wingers on loan this month in Yannick Bolasie and Anwar El-Ghazi. This, coupled with Albert Adomah’s poor run of form of late, means the Ghana international is facing an uncertain future with just hours until the transfer window closes.
Adomah enjoyed his best ever scoring season for Villa in 2017/18 but that form has deserted him in recent months. The former Middlesbrough man is now 20 games without a goal and that barren run continued as he missed a penalty in the midweek loss to Burton Albion in the EFL Cup.
As a result, TEAMtalk claims that Steve Bruce has told Adomah that he can leave on deadline day.
And three Championship promotion hopefuls have been interested in the winger over the summer – Leeds United, West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough.
Leeds were reported to have been in talks with Adomah at the start of August, according to the Birmingham Mail.
West Brom were also reported to be keen. The Baggies are the top scorers in English football going into this weekends games but Adomah would add some extra quality out wide for Darren Moore’s side.
Middlesbrough have also been following Adomah over recent weeks and are allegedly keen to bring him back to the Riverside.
So Aston Villa’s out-of-form attacker could be the big story on deadline day.
