West Bromwich Albion are expected to lose a number of their best players and Kieran Gibbs will be targeted by bottom-half Premier League clubs.

Considering how many of West Brom’s squad have been reportedly targeted by Premier League rivals upon their seemingly inevitable relegation from the top flight, it is baffling to think that the Baggies are 10 points adrift of safety as things stand.

The likes of Ben Foster, Salomon Rondon, Jay Rodriguez and Craig Dawson have all been tipped to move elsewhere while Jonny Evans, who will cost just £3 million thanks to a relegation clause in his contract, has admirers from both Tottenham and Arsenal, according to The Telegraph.

And Kieran Gibbs is also set to be a man in demand.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the left-back will have suitors from a number of teams in the bottom half of the Premier League despite a disappointing debut season at The Hawthorns.

West Brom appeared to have pulled off a coup when their signed a 10-time England international from Arsenal for just £7 million last summer, per Sky Sports. But despite a bright start, 28-year-old Gibbs’ form has dropped amid the Baggies’ dreadful run of one win in 29 games.

Though not enough to put other teams off making a move this summer.

The likes of Newcastle United, Watford and Huddersfield Town could perhaps all do with an upgrade at left-back and Gibbs, whose reputation has not really been affected by West Brom’s position at the bottom of the league, should be a man in demand.
