Juventus have been linked with a move for the Tottenham Hotspur player.

Juventus have held talks with the entourage of Christian Eriksen and are planning a summer bid for the Tottenham Hotspur star, according to Calciomercato.

Eriksen has been plying his trade in North London for six years now but the future of the former Ajax wonder kid appears to be up in the air with less than two months of the Premier League season remaining.

It is well documented that the play-maker’s contract expires in the summer of 2020 and Spurs have so far been unable to tie him down to a new deal.

La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are the clubs who have been most heavily linked but reports from Italy suggest that Juventus, who have already snapped up Aaron Ramsey from Spurs’ local rivals Arsenal, could be his destination.

Calciomercato claim that Juve director Fabio Paratici is a huge fan of Eriksen with the Serie A champions holding talks with his representatives.

The report adds that Tottenham are confident that Eriksen will sign a new deal. And even if he doesn’t, it seems they have a contingency plan.

The Mail claimed on Friday that Spurs would rather sell Eriksen this summer rather than lose him for free with the likes of Jack Grealish and Wilfred Zaha lined up as potential replacements.
