Portugal and Real Madrid legend Pepe could reportedly make an eye-catching move to Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers in January.

Another Jorge Mendes client could be on his way to Molineux in the January transfer window.
Since the summer of 2016, Helder Costa, Ivan Cavaleiro, Joao Moutinho, Ruben Neves and Rui Patricio have all been brought to Wolverhampton Wanderers by the Iberian super-agent. But the biggest name yet could be about to arrive.
According to Record, one of the most decorated centre-backs in the modern era is a free agent. And it is understood that none other than Pepe is an option for a Wolves side who have made a splash since their return to the Premier League.
Pepe left Besiktas earlier this month, cancelling a contract that was due to run until the end of the season with Record claiming that the 2017 Super Lig champions needed to relieve some of the financial pressure on their shoulders.
And it would be little surprise to see Mendes land one of his most reputable clients one last big pay day in the Premier League.

Back in July, Fanatik claimed that Pepe was aware of interest from Wolves, though it was claimed that Besiktas were demanding £6 million. For obvious reasons, the veteran defender won’t cost anywhere near that much these days.
The 35-year-old has won trophies throughout his career, lifting three Champions League titles and a trio of La Liga crowns with Real Madrid while helping Portugal to their first ever international trophy, the European Championships of 2016.
