Jordan Lyden has not featured in the Championship for Aston Villa and is being linked with lower league clubs Burton Albion and Port Vale.

Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has been criticised in some quarters for not giving the club’s array of highly rated youngsters enough of a chance in the first-team.
Mitchell Clark and Easah Suliman have both left on loan in recent weeks, while there was an uproar among many supporters when the highly-rated Andre Green was allowed to join Portsmouth, although Bruce’s argument about him needing more regular game time rang true.
According to the Birmingham Mail, another Bodymoor Heath graduate could be on his way before the transfer window closes on Friday.
It is claimed that Jordan Lyden is attracting interest from a number of lower league clubs, including Burton Albion and Port Vale. And the 22-year-old is allegedly weighing up his options, with his chances of first-team football at Villa Park looking very slim.

The former Australia U20 ace has made just eight senior appearances in Villa colours, although his progress has been hampered by injuries.
Lyden was left out of Villa’s squad for the 1-0 EFL Cup defeat against Burton Albion on Tuesday night while another talented young midfielder, Jake Doyle-Hayes, was included on the bench.
