Huddersfield Town have been relegated from the Premier League with former Borussia Dortmund coach Jan Siewert losing eight out of nine games.

Jan Siewert is facing a potential sacking at Huddersfield Town after the club were relegated from the Premier League on Saturday, according to shock claims made by the Times.
Siewert was only appointed in January, the former Borussia Dortmund youth coach moving to Yorkshire after David Wagner walked away.
Hiring the 36-year-old appeared to be a sign that Huddersfield were planning for the future, putting their faith in a young manager they believed was capable of leading them back to the Premier League at the earliest opportunity.
But the succession plan appears to be under threat.
Siewert has lost eight of his nine games in charge, with the Terriers becoming the second team in Premier League history to be relegated before the end of March following this weekend’s loss to Crystal Palace.

The Times believes that he could now depart just three months into a two-and-a-half-year deal. Siewert has apparently alienated some of Huddersfield’s senior players with his ‘hard-line approach’.
It is claimed that Siewert has dropped certain players without explanation, which has resulted in a number of complaints made to those above his head.
Siewert will allegedly hold talks with chairman Dean Hoyle, with U23 boss Mark Hudson claimed to be the favoured candidate by some within the club to replace the German.
