Serie A giants Inter Milan may be willing to accept as little as £17 million for Marcelo Brozovic amid interest from Everton.

2017 is already shaping up to be a game-changing summer at Goodison Park. By the third week of June, Everton have snapped up Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and Ajax captain Davy Klaassen for a combined fee of £54 million.
And, with the backing of billionaire shareholder Farhad Moshiri, the spending will not stop there.
According to Sky Sports, director of football Steve Walsh travelled to Milan recently to discuss the possibility of signing six players contracted to either Inter or AC, among them Croatian international midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
It is fair to say the highly-rated dynamo didn’t have his best season at the San Siro in 2016/17. Brozovic started just 20 Serie A games as Inter limped to a dismal eighth placed finish, missing out on European football altogether while hiring and firing three different managers since the end of pre-season.
Brozovic was even dropped from the squad entirely during the short-lived reign of Frank De Boer after reacting angrily to being subbed in a 2-0 Europa League defeat against Hapoel Be’er Sheva. The 2010 Champions League winners, just for what it’s worth, failed to progress from a group also containing Sparta Prague and Southampton.

However, rather than putting Everton off, a dreadful campaign may actually make signing Brozovic a far more straightforward task.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter may accept as little as £17 million – despite the 24-year-old having a £43 million buyout clause in his contract.
Therefore, it would be little surprise if another marquee signing was set to arrive on Merseyside in the coming weeks.
