Joao Mario has been linked with a return to the Premier League via Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle United.

Inter Milan have offered Newcastle United the chance to bring Joao Mario back to the Premier League for around £17 million, according to Inter Live.
The 26-year-old play-maker no longer appears to be part of Inter’s future plans after making just 20 Serie A appearances under Luciano Spalletti this season.
And he has been heavily linked with a return to England, having spent the second half of the 2017/18 campaign under David Moyes at West Ham United.
Everton have been mentioned as a potential destination but, in quotes reported by Goal, head coach Marco Silva has played down speculation linking him with a reunion with his former Sporting Lisbon talisman.
But it remains to be seen whether Newcastle are willing to offer Mario a fresh start.

Inter Live claims that the Nerazzuri have offered the Euro 2016 winner to Rafa Benitez’s side for £17 million, about half the fee Inter paid to bring Mario to Italy three years ago.
A skilful and composed operator in the centre of the park, Mario would add some extra creativity to Newcastle’s attack but £17 million could be a little rich for owner Mike Ashley.
