Cedric Soares could be back in the Premier League with Southampton soon, with Inter Milan unlikely to sign him permanently.

So Cedric Soares might play for Southampton again after all.
The Portuguese international moved to Inter Milan on loan for the rest of the season during the January transfer window with the BBC claiming that the Serie A giants have an option to sign him on a permanent basis at the end of the season for around £9.5 million.
But a long-term stay at the San Siro is already looking a little unlikely.
Because Tuttomercatoweb have now claimed that Inter only see Cedric as something of a temporary solution. It is understood that they are using the next few months to identify a new right-back to sign in the summer, a player who will act as a permanent replacement for the injury-stricken Srme Vrsaljko.

TMW reports that Napoli’s Albania international Elseid Hysaj is one of their top targets. The former Empoli ace, who followed Maurizio Sarri to the Stadio San Paolo, would cost a lot more than the £9.5 million demanded for Cedric, however.
So Southampton fans should not be surprised to see the former Sporting Lisbon flyer pull on the red and white stripes again soon.
