For QPR fans, the prospect of losing their prized asset Ryan Manning to London rivals Crystal Palace does not bear thinking about.

It has been an underwhelming campaign for Queens Park Rangers, their Championship survival only mathematically secured with a game to go after Saturday’s 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest.
Though at least the emergence of Ryan Manning has given the fans something to cheer. However, according to the Daily Mirror, the 20-year-old’s progress has not gone unnoticed with Crystal Palace hoping to take him twelve miles south from Loftus Road to Selhurst Park.
The left-footed midfielder has exploded onto the scene since Ian Holloway returned to the club earlier in the season, despite former manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink planning to release him in the summer.
And the Daily Mirror reports that Palace have made an enquiry about Manning’s future with manager Sam Allardyce aiming to add more creativity to his squad.

A technically gifted, versatile central midfielder would certainly give The Eagles more precision in the centre of the park, with the prospect of learning from Premier League veteran Yohan Cabaye purporting to take his game to the next level.
Though it is clear that QPR will not let Manning, who only made his debut on December 31, leave without a fight.
“I have had some wonderful players and, in my view, Ryan is up there with them. He is a special talent,” Holloway said in quotes reported by the Daily Mirror.

However, with QPR struggling down the wrong end of the Championship table, it would be understandable if Manning was enticed by a move to the Premier League in the summer.
