Hull City reportedly want two Championship strikers on deadline-day, Chris Martin of Derby County and Ashley Fletcher of Middlesbrough.

Hull City have scored just five goals in their five Championship games so far this season and appear to lack a bit of firepower in the absence of Abel Hernandez and Harry Wilson.
So, with just hours remaining in the transfer window, manager Nigel Adkins is apparently determined to add one new marksman to his Tigers’ squad before it is too late. And it seems that there are two Championship centre-forwards on his wish list.
Sky Sports (live blog, 1.29pm) is claiming that Hull are in talks to sign Chris Martin from Derby County.
The Scotland international has been out of favour at Pride Park for some time, starting only five Championship games for the Rams since the start of 2017/18 and failing to feature at all since Frank Lampard took over this summer.

Martin, however, has a good track record in England’s second tier. He scored 55 times for Derby between 2013 and 2016.
Hull are also understood to be keen on Middlesbrough’s £6 man Ashley Fletcher who, like Martin, has found opportunities hard to come by.
The former Manchester United and West Ham youngster scored twice in the recent EFL Cup clash with Notts County but has played just 38 minutes of Championship football in 2018/19.
