Premier League Brighton and Hove Albion could sell midfielder Oliver Norwood according to reports but Championship Hull City have not met their valuation.

Hull City’s pursuit of Oliver Norwood is rumbling on without a conclusion in sight.
According to the Mirror (live blog, 10.17pm) last week, Fulham want to sign the 27-year-old on a permanent basis after he spent last season on loan at Craven Cottage from Brighton and Hove Albion.
But Norwood is reported to be concerned about a potential lack of game time at the Premier League newcomers, and would therefore prefer to sign for the side who finished 18th in the Championship last season – Nigel Adkins’ Hull.
Although that is only half the battle.
Sky Sports are reporting that Hull have now seen a second bid rejected by Brighton this summer for the former Manchester United youngster. The Seagulls value Norwood at £1.5 million so it can only be presumed that Hull’s bid was less than that.

Interestingly, the Tigers also failed in an attempt to land another Brighton player, the winger Jiri Skalak, last month with Chris Hughton’s side proving difficult negotiators in the transfer market.
Norwood has won back-to-back promotions to the Premier League in the last two seasons. So, should he arrive, he could be seen as a good omen for a Hull side who underachieved badly last season.
