James Maddison’s form in the Championship with Norwich City has made him a target for Premier League side Huddersfield Town.

Since Huddersfield Town were promoted to the Premier League in May 2016, the Terriers have smashed their own transfer record on four occasions.
And they could make it five at the end of the season, should they retain their place in the top tier of English football.

Maddison barely featured for Norwich in 2016/17 but has emerged as the Canaries’ key player under Daniel Farke, scoring 13 goals and setting up another seven in an otherwise disappointing campaign for the underachieving Norwich.
The Sun claims that Norwich, however, would want £15 million for Maddison – £1 million more than Huddersfield paid during a January raid of Carrow Road when they snapped up the Scot’s former midfield partner Alex Pritchard.

But with Huddersfield boss David Wagner watching Maddison closely, there could be a good chance he will reunite with Pritchard at the John Smith’s Stadium at the end of this season.
It remains to be seen how much opposition the Terriers will face, however. The Standard claimed in January that bona fide Premier League giants Tottenham, Manchester City and Liverpool were all keen on the 21-year-old rising star.
