Monaco signed Adama Diakhaby from Ligue 1 rivals Rennes last summer but he could now be heading to the Premier League with Huddersfield Town.

Huddersfield Town survived relegation by the skin of their teeth last season so have taken to the transfer market to ensure they push on towards the safety of mid-table in their second Premier League campaign.
The Terriers have completed eight signings already, breaking their transfer record for Terence Kongolo while also bringing in German World Cup winner Erik Durm from Borussia Dortmund.
And latest reports suggest an exciting France U21 international could soon be the latest to arrive at the John Smith’s Stadium.
FootMercato claimed on Tuesday that Huddersfield were keen on Adama Diakhaby and the report added that the winger was interested in a move to Yorkshire after a disappointing debut season with Monaco.

And the Mail (live blog, 3.47pm) later reported that Huddersfield have made an £8 million bid for Diakhaby, which falls just short of the fee Monaco paid Rennes for his services this time last year.
Diakhaby is a quick and direct attacker, someone who could add an element of unpredictability to a forward line that netted the joint fewest number of goals in the Premier League last season, alongside relegated Swansea City.
He scored and assisted five goals in just 10 Ligue 1 starts for Monaco in 2017/18.
