Huddersfield look set to beat Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United, plus Bundesliga powerhouses Dortmund and RB Leipzig, to Crowe.

Dylan Crowe of Ipswich Town looks on during the FA Youth Cup 5th Round match between Watford and Ipswich Town at The Maurice Rebak Stadium on February 12, 2019 in London, England.

Huddersfield Town have seen a £300,000 bid for Ipswich Town starlet Dylan Crowe rejected, according to the Sun, as the Terriers look to beat Manchester United and Arsenal to the teenager’s signature.

The England youth star has emerged as one of the country’s most promising kids in recent months with his ability to play at right-back and in midfield catching the eye of plenty of clubs up and down the nation.

The Mirror claimed that Arsenal and Manchester United have been impressed with Crowe but Bundesliga duo Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig were hoping to clip their wings by luring the 18-year-old to Germany.

As it stands, however, Huddersfield are perhaps at the front of the queue as they look to swoop in and grab Crowe from under the noses of Arsenal and United.

The Sun claims that they have seen a six-figure bid turned down but they are increasingly close to announcing a deal for one of the Football League’s brightest talents.

Huddersfield could be an intelligent stepping stone for Crowe given that head coach Jan Siewert, formerly Dortmund’s reserve boss, has an excellent track record when it comes to working with young players.

Could Siewert have been central to Dortmund’s attempts to sign Crowe late last year?
